Town of Duck to present ‘A History of the Banker Horses’ with CWHF’s Meg Puckett

Join the Town of Duck for the next Bias Speaker Series on Thursday, May 18, 2023, as Meg Puckett from the Corolla Wild Horse Fund (CWHF) will share information about the the natural and cultural history of the Banker horses, and the role the Corolla Wild Horse Fund plays in their management. This event is free and open to the public.

Topics covered will include breed and habitat conservation, research and data collection, emergency response, and in general how CWHF works collectively with county, state, and federal governments along with residents and other stakeholders to protect, preserve, and responsibly manage the herd.

A light reception begins at 6:30 p.m. with the presentation beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Paul F. Keller Meeting Hall located at 1200 Duck Road.
