The annual Flying Pirate Half Marathon, 5K, Double Dare Challenge and Fun Run that were to be held this weekend on the Outer Banks have been cancelled, sort of. They are now being conducted as virtual events starting this weekend.
Runners can still register through this Sunday to participate in the runs that benefit the Dare Education Foundation and Outer Banks Relief Foundation.
