Francisca Leonila Zafra Midgett

Francisca Leonila Zafra Midgett, 86, of Manteo, NC died Tuesday, July 24, 2019, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Born in Trujillo, Peru on July 8, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Blanca Espino Vallejo de Zafra and Andres Zafra Padilla.
Francisca is survived by two sons, Edison Chavez and wife Carmen and Cesar Zafra and wife Paola; six grandchildren, Nicolas, Gloria, Blanca, Bruna, Mateo, and Bianca; two brothers, Jorge Zafra and Horacio Zafra; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and relatives for viewing and visitation on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Twiford Colony Chapel from 3:00 until 5:00 pm. A catholic funeral will begin at 4:30 pm officiated by Deacon Al Hallatt.
