The Currituck County Senior Center is actively searching for meal delivery volunteers to assist local home-bound seniors.
Schedules are flexible to meet the volunteer’s needs. The average route requires one hour of and individuals can volunteer as often as they’d like.
There are currently 10 routes throughout Currituck County serving approximately 65 seniors.
The Senior Center also notes that volunteers play a key role in providing seniors not only with a meal, but offer much needed socialization and smiles, to remember that you may be the only person that they see all day!
