Are you a writer, but not sure how to get your words published? Or maybe you want to build a daily writing practice and aren’t sure where to start. It can all be made possible with the “Writing Your Heart Out” virtual presentation courtesy of the Dare County Library held via Zoom on Friday, May 6th, from noon to 1 p.m.

This workshop, presented by Donna Y. Ferris, author of “We’ve Got to Stop Meeting Like This – A Memoir of Missed Connections” will provide the tools to develop a thriving writing practice and will discuss the personal benefits of pursuing this creative outlet.

There will be tips on how to get published by publications and platforms. A high-level overview of the process and steps to publish a book will be also be shared.
