On September 7, 2021, William “Bryan” Scaff, age 56, of 1707 Lobell Lane, Elizabeth City, North Carolina was called home to the Lord.
He was born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina to Viola Scaff and the late William (Billy) Scaff who preceded him in death by two years. He fought a hard fight but could not fight any longer. His loving wife of nineteen years, Kimberly Scaff, was at his bedside when he took his last breath.
Everyone called him Bryan but his closest friends called him Silver Bullet. He loved everybody and would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. He loved his friends but most of all he loved his family. He was a true believer in God and was a member of Victory Christian Church. Bryan will truly be missed. He left his mark on this earth.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Scaff (and her boyfriend, Brandon Allgood), Mary Scaff (and her fiancé, Jamie Wade), and Jessica Brinkley; two sisters, Lynette Hill and Mary Beth Scaff; a niece, Ashley Jones; a nephew Mark Terry; his special cousin, Margaret; three grandchildren, Joey White, Madisyn Brinkley, and Preston Brinkley. He was predeceased also by a stillborn son, William Daniel Scaff, who died nine years ago. William Daniel is now in the loving arms of his dad and grandad.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Strick’s Family Campground, 168 Hertford Beach Road, Hertford, NC 27944. The family will receive visitors at his residence or at his Mom’s residence, 704 Briarwood Road, Elizabeth City, NC.
