Maintenance employees at Fort Raleigh National Historic Site recently replaced wood decking in the Waterside Theatre.
In addition to repairs to decking and the recent installation of over of a thousand new theater seats, a contactor added metal roofing on the costume shop and ticket booth.
The Waterside Theatre is home to the Nation’s longest-running outdoor symphonic drama, “The Lost Colony,” which opened for its 85th season on May 27, 2022.
