The big story on the Outer Banks this morning might be the snow, but the wind is doing its best to steal the show.
Several locals shared videos of stoplights “dancing’ in the wind Thursday morning. Judy Kirby’s video was captured near the outlets in Nags Head:
A wind advisory remains in effect for the entire Outer Banks until 7 p.m., with sustained north winds of 25-35 mph and gusts up to 50. Charlie Nieman captured a similar scene to Kirby’s just up the road a bit.
