Dare County Board of Commissioners Chairman Bob Woodard has released a video message addressing residents and visitors to the Outer Banks.

In the video, Woodard comments on the current status of COVID-19 in Dare County—and remarks on the amount of progress that has been made toward vaccinating the county’s population against the virus.

Woodard also encourages those who have not received their vaccine to do so, and he reminds residents and property owners that all individuals ages 12 and older are currently eligible. To request an appointment, visit www.DareNC.com/CovidVaccine or call 252-475-5008.

In addition, Woodard also acknowledges the start of a busy summer season and asks residents and visitors to remain patient as the community works together to address the challenges that come with the record-breaking number of visitors vacationing on the Outer Banks this year.
