Project Glam Girls will once again be offering free prom dresses, suits, tuxedos and accessories to Outer Banks teens ahead of the 2022 high school proms.

But after this coming season, they will be looking for a new home.

“I founded Project Glam Girls and for the last two or three years we have been fortunate enough to store all of our inventory and hold the actual Boutique at Manteo Faith Church,” said Quinn Capps-Wartenbe.

“They are allowing us to hold the 2022 Boutique there, however they have decided that this will be the last year of hosting Project Glam Girls, which also means we will have no place to store our inventory,” she said.

Quinn is now reaching out to the local community to find a climate controlled storage unit and possibly sponsors.

“The group has no funds as we provide everything for free. We have had help in the past from some private donors and they have been much appreciated,” she said.

“If you know of a business that may be willing to sponsor a storage unit for us that would be greatly appreciated. Any and all sponsors would be promoted on our Facebook page, as well as on our posters, flyers, press releases, and mentions when doing radio interviews, etc.,” Capps-Wartenbe added.
