VIDEO: Highlights from the second annual Manteo Food and Coat Drive

In the true spirit of giving and joy, the Manteo Police Department, Town staff and the Pea Island Preservation Society held their second annual drive-thru food and coat drive on Saturday, December 18.

Food and other non-perishable donations was shared among the three local food pantries serving Manteo residents. Coats for Kids and the Dellerva Collins Coat Drive for Kids were the recipients of coat donations.

Donations were collected at the Pea Island Preservation Society’s Cook House Museum and Manteo Town Hall.

The Pea Island Preservation Society also collected monetary donations to benefit Interfaith Community Outreach. And Collins Park was festive with Christmas music, carolers and hot chocolate compliments of the Salvation Army Canteen.
