UPDATE: Police formally charge alleged Kitty Hawk beach flasher

Kitty Hawk police have formally charged the suspect who allegedly was seen exposing himself near the Lillian Street beach access earlier this month.

A man was spotted around 2 p.m. on April 5, and again around 11 a.m. on April 6, near the dune line near the Lillian Street access and Kitty Hawk RV Park, exposing himself and masturbating.

Following tips from the public on his location, Zane Codi Reynolds of Corolla was served a criminal summons Wednesday afternoon for indecent exposure in connection with the April 6 incident.

The April 5 incident remains under investigation, according to the Kitty Hawk Police Department.
