Have you ever wondered, “Can I make a difference at Christmas in the life of a child”? The answer is “Yes!”
Since 2012, Twiford Funeral Homes, through Operation Toy Soldier has collected over 6,000 toys that have been distributed by the NC National Guard Family Program to local regional children of active duty and military veterans of our Armed Forces that have been deployed.
This year, we hope to be able to distribute more toys than last year with the help of businesses and individuals, such as yourselves.
Operation Toy Soldier is a 501-C, not-for-profit corporation, which is administered by Veterans Funeral Care in Clearwater, FL and we, Twiford Funeral Homes, are the designated collection point for Northeastern North Carolina. Your monetary gift of any size is tax-deductible.
If you would like to help in making this a special Christmas for our military children, please send a check made payable to Operation Toy Soldier to Twiford Funeral Homes, PO Box 595, Manteo, NC 27954 no later than December 1, 2021. Our staff is standing by to purchase toys that your generous donations will provide.
