Town of Duck completes Finance Software Conversion

The North Carolina League of Municipalities (NCLM) provided grants to 55 municipalities to upgrade their financial software through the Municipal Accounting Services program, funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

The Town of Duck is one of 55 municipalities to receive the grant which includes funding to cover software conversion costs, three years of maintenance fees, and valuable accounting assistance from NCLM’s Municipal Accounting Services staff for up to three years.

This initiative is designed to strengthen the Town’s fiscal operations. In recognition of their achievement, Perry James, NCLM’s Municipal Accounting Services Senior Consultant, and Mary Hogan, NCLM Accounting Supervisor, presented a Certificate of Excellence to the Town of Duck and Jessica Barnes, the Human Resources and Finance Administrator.
