UPDATED: Five additional guitars, amp recovered after break in at Jubilee Music Store

Kill Devil Hills police on Monday say five additional guitars and an amplifier have been recovered after a 40-year-old man was arrested Tuesday in connection with the break-in and theft of $10,000 worth of equipment from Jubilee Music Store.

Officers served a search warrant Tuesday afternoon at 1713 Sea Swept Road in Kill Devil Hills, where they recovered a Les Paul Double valued at $6,999, police said in a news release.

Christopher Pergl, 40, was charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny in connection with the theft, the release said. Pergl was jailed in lieu a $10,000 secured bond.

On Wednesday, police said Pergl cooperated with investigators to ensure the return of the rest of the stolen property, which included five guitars and and an amp.
