A section of South Memorial Boulevard in Kill Devil Hills has been closed to traffic, after a sink hole developed in a culvert under the street Friday night.
The closure is located near the Goddard Avenue intersection.
Kill Devil Hills Public Works said the drainage pipe will have to be replaced, and the road will remain closed through Monday.
