Ocean Atlantic Rentals recently had multiple golf carts stolen from their Point Harbor location, and is asking the public for help in finding them.
“The community (you) have always been so good to us over the past 40 years and we hope someone hears something or sees something that can help us get the carts returned,” the company posted Monday on Facebook.
“Immediate return to our property is required or we will press charges to the fullest extent of the law,” the company added.
The stolen golf carts are registered with the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles as “low speed vehicles”. The carts have lights, horn, & other safety features including license plates and vehicle identification numbers.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Currituck County Sheriff’s Office at (252) 453-8204 and reference report #19-0463.
