Most Google services back online after massive outage this morning

Gmail, Google Drive, some Google Classrooms applications, YouTube, Google Drive and other Google services went down early Monday, but appeared to be back online just before 9 a.m.

The outage began at around 6:25 a.m. Google’s own Workspace Status Dashboard showed all its services to be suffering outages without exception.By 7:40 a.m., services started coming back online, CBS reported.

Dare County schools sent a message to parents and students at 8 a.m., warning that many school applications may not be available due to the outage. Currituck County schools were also impacted. 

There was no word Monday morning what might have caused the outage.
