Island Free Press: Hatteras Volunteer Fire Department asks for help identifying larceny suspect

The Hatteras Volunteer Fire Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a series of larcenies from their station last week.

Shortly after midnight on both July 15 and 16, a young man rode his bike to the Hatteras Volunteer Fire Station in Hatteras village, and entered into the station through a window. He was then observed going through the apparatus, and stealing medical supplies and some other items two nights in a row.

If you were here on vacation last week, and you saw this person or you know who he is, please contact the Hatteras Volunteer Fire Station via Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/hatterasvfd/, or call Dare Community Crimeline at 252-475-3111.
