UPDATED: Dare County health officials report 15 new COVID-19 cases Thursday

The Dare County Department of Health and Human Service reported 15 new cases of coronavirus Thursday, for a total now of 171 since testing began in March.

The latest cases include:
Non-resident, 25-49, male, isolating in Dare
Non-resident, 18-24, female, isolating in Dare
Resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
Non-resident, 65 over, male, transferred isolation to home county
Non-resident, 50-64, female, isolating in Dare
Resident, 65 over, male, home isolation
Resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
Resident, 50 – 64, female, home isolation
Resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
Non-resident, 50-64, female, transferred isolation to home county
Resident, 25-49, male home isolation
Resident, 17 under, female, home isolation
Resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
Resident, 65 over, female, home isolation
Resident, 18-24, male, home isolation

There are currently 37 active positive cases among Dare County residents, with two hospitalized and 35 on home isolation.
