Dare County health officials announce eight new COVID-19 cases Monday

Dare County Health and Human Service announced eight new COVID-19 cases on Monday.

Sixteen cases are currently active among 541 positive coronavirus tests in Dare County since testing began in March. Of those, 15 are in home isolation and one is hospitalized. Three Dare County residents have died.

Monday’s newly reported cases include:
Non-resident, 17 under, male, transferred isolation
Resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
Resident, 18-24, female, recovered (late report from the state)
Resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
Resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
Non-resident, 50-64, female, transferred isolation
Non-resident, 50-64, female, transferred isolation
Resident, 50-64, male, home isolation
