Dare County health officials announce 13 new COVID-19 cases Saturday

The Dare County Department of Health and Human Services reported 13 new COVID-19 cases Saturday, bringing the total since testing began in March to 194.

The latest cases include:
Resident, 25-49, male, isolating at home
Non-resident, 18-24, female, transferred
Non-resident, 17 under, female, transferred
Resident, 50-64, male, home isolation
Resident, 17 under, male, home isolation
Resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
Resident, 18-24, male, home isolation
Resident, 17 under, female, home isolation
Non-resident, 25-49, male, transferred
Resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
Resident, 17 under, female, home isolation
Resident, 18-24, male, home isolation
Resident, 17 under, female, home isolation

A testing clinic for Dare County residents will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 starting at 1 p.m. at Dare County Parks & Recreation located at 602 Mustian St., Kill Devil Hills, NC. Individuals can register for an appointment for the diagnostic test, the antibody test, or both.

To schedule an appointment, please call 252.475.5008. The call center is open Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Participants are required to send a photocopy of their government-issued identification card and insurance card prior to the event.
