Dare Board of Education calls special meeting to discuss reopening schools

The Dare County Board of Education will meet in special session on Thursday, Oct. 1, to discuss the reopening of schools. The meeting will be held at First Flight High School and will begin at 5 p.m.

The meeting will be held virtually for the general public due to COVID-19 restrictions on mass gatherings. Live audio of the meeting will be available on the Dare County Schools website at https://www.daretolearn.org.

Public comments will not be part of the agenda since this is a special-called meeting. However, if you would like to submit questions/comments prior to the meeting, click here.
