Dare County’s first responders bid farewell to Dare MedFlight chief pilot Chad Jones this afternoon with a funeral procession from the Wright Brothers Memorial in Kill Devil Hills to the EMS hangar in Manteo.
People lined the route for a final salute as the Dare MedFlight helicopter carrying Chad and his son hovered overhead.
Dare emergency dispatchers issued a final call to begin the procession.
