Tonya Trail Williams, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 49, while vacationing on the Outer Banks. She was born on October 5, 1973, in Lynchburg, VA.
Tonya graduated from Rustburg High School and worked as a front desk clerk in the healthcare industry. Her dedication and hard work were always appreciated by her colleagues and patients alike.
Tonya will be deeply missed by her three daughters, Salina Taylor, Jade Williams, and Heather Williams, as well as her four grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother and father, Nancy and Terry Adams, her sister, Erica Johnson (David); cousin and dear friend, Melanie Jennings; and close friend, Dawn Watson.
Tonya was preceded in death by a daughter, Sabrina Williams; her father, Eugene Trail; and a close friend, Sky Wells.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, July 3, 2023, at Fort Hill United Methodist Church, Lynchburg, VA. Tonya will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family. May she rest in peace.
