A benefit raffle for Brandon Marshall is underway through June 12, with prizes ranging from hunting and fishing trips, a John Deere Gator, and even tickets to N.C. State football and Carolina Hurricanes hockey.
Brandon lost his life on January 25 in a tragic duck hunting accident. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and dear friend. As most knew him, Brandon was a person with a heart of gold, was always willing to lend a hand, and help in anything that was asked of him.
He was community-minded and gave purely from his heart, doing things for the betterment of the Hyde County community and surrounding areas. Brandon served as chairman of the Hyde County DU chapter, leader in Hyde Co. recreation department, and served on several state and local boards and committees.
Benefit Raffle tickets are $100 each and will be on sale now through June 12th. There will be a live drawing June 12, beginning at 6:00pm at Martelle’s Feed House in Engelhard. The drawing will be live streamed on Facebook and you do not need to be present to win.
Brandon leaves behind a wife, and three beautiful children which he loved dearly. We now need to do our part in honor of Brandon. Please join honoring Brandon by giving back to his family that has always been there for their community.
