Thomas J. Reed, 74, passed away peacefully July 14, 2022 at his Colington home after bravely battling Parkinson’s Disease. He was born in Norfolk, VA and lived an active and adventurous life.
Tom resided in Kill Devil Hills, NC for the past 20 years. He loved serving the community as a volunteer firefighter with the Colington Fire Department.
After a long bachelorhood, Tom recently married his longtime companion Linda, whom he cherished. Besides Linda, Tom is survived by numerous dear friends. Linda will honor Tom’s directives for cremation and there are no plans for a memorial at this time. Anyone wishing to honor Tom Reed may do so with a donation in his memory to the Colington Fire Department.
