Third annual Remembrance on the River happening May 25-28; Vendors sought

Remembrance on the River will return to Weldon, North Carolina for the third year May 25-28, 2023. The event will run daily from 10:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m. The closing ceremony on May 28 will be at 5:00 p.m.

Remembrance on the River is a yearly event held on the banks of the beautiful Roanoke River in Weldon, N.C. with the mission of giving honor to war heroes to ensure all citizens understand the history and the importance of the service to god and country.

This event is FREE to the public and will include: North Carolina Vietnam Traveling Wall, owned and built by AMVETS Post 906 in Southport, NC, Trees of Valor, Beirut Memorial, NC National Guard Mobil Museum, Lights of Valor, and a Field of Flags made up of flags placed by you in  honor of your past and present military family members who served  in the United States Military. Food and craft vendors on site, with music and special presentations throughout the event.
