Outer Banks Blanketeers to display over 400 handmade quilts in Duck on March 7

The Outer Banks Blanketeers is a group of ladies who enjoy quilting and helping our community. Each Friday in January and February they meet at Duck United Methodist Church.

A different pattern or idea is presented each week, and participants can follow that design or create from another pattern.

Saturday, March 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the results of their labors can be seen when 400 quilts will be displayed in Duck United Methodist Church. Each quilt will eventually be given to a child or adult who could be comforted by one of these.

All are invited and encouraged to come out to see these amazing creations and meet some of those who stitched them.
