Nags Head Woods 5K goes virtual through Dec. 31, benefits Interfaith Community Outreach

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, North Banks Rotary Club has decided to modify the format of the Nags Head Woods 5K to a virtual race – you can still participate and help us raise money for a worthy cause.

You may participate in the virtual race from now until December 31, 2020. The virtual option will allow you to run a 5k anywhere in the world, post your time via our results page, still compete, and still help the North Banks Rotary Club make a difference.

If you are planning to visit the Outer Banks during this time, you are welcome to run the actual course at Nags Head Woods. The course will be clearly marked for our participants that will choose this option.

COVID-19 has challenged us all in 2020, we encourage you to consider still participating and join us in giving back to a great organization, the Interfaith Community Outreach, who has been assisting Outer Banks residents for over 16 years. For more information about how the organization assists our Outer Banks Community, please visit their website at https://www.interfaithoutreach.com/

We know that annual participants will miss the thrill and energy of a live event … and of course the beer, but you can still make the best of this Outer Banks 5k tradition by joining us for our virtual 5k competition.

From the North Banks Rotary Club, we say stay safe, stay healthy, and thank you for your support!
