KDH Community Appearance Commission promotes Bag Smarter campaign

In an effort to help protect our environment and keep it clean, the Kill Devil Hills Community Appearance Commission has been focusing its efforts on promoting a Bag Smarter Campaign.

The CAC’s goal with the Bag Smarter Campaign is for consumers to consider using alternatives to plastic bags by bagging merchandise in reusable or paper bags.

CAC member Billy Dorn has been taking action in the Kill Devil Hills community by partnering with area businesses and having a presence at local events, to distribute the Town’s reusable bags to members of the public, encouraging them to ‘Bag Smarter.’

If you would like to assist in promoting the Bag Smarter endeavor by using a KDH reusable bag and supporting a Bag Smarter sticker please stop by the Administration Department at Kill Devil Hills Town Hall, located at 102 Town Hall Drive, off Colington Road, open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
