Making your own sauerkraut, kimchi, and hot sauce is easy! Join local fermentation expert, Owen Sullivan of Hay Point Fermentation, for the first of a summer workshop series on mastering the lacto-fermentation process!

The workshop will take place on Saturday, June 27, outside of the historic cookhouse at Island Farm; the workshop begins at 4 p.m. and the cost is $25 per person. Space is limited.

Participants will be taught the steps for mastering the process in their own kitchen, plus – they’ll walk away with a batch of sauerkraut that’ll be ready to eat in a weeks’ time! Workshop cost includes local and organic vegetables, seasoning mix, and all materials needed for a home professional’s lacto-fermentation kit.
