Autumn in the south is synonymous with many things: crisp-cool air, gold foliage littering the ground, and for many northeastern North Carolinians, the Chowan County Regional Fair.

The 76th Annual Chowan County Regional Fair has returned for 5-days of heart-racing rides, mouth-watering food, vendors, booths, livestock, and more at the Chowan County Fair Grounds located at 1317 W Queen St. in Edenton, North Carolina. The 2022 fair is currently being held through Tuesday, September 27 to Sunday, October 1.

General admission is $8 for those 36″ and taller, and $20 for those seeking a wrist-band for unlimited rides. Tickets can either be purchased at the gate, or online by visiting the Fair’s website. Admission specials are being offered throughout the week including Thursday in which all seniors (60+) can enter for free.

The gates to the fairground open each day at 4 p.m. and close at 11 p.m.
