Teresa Cristina Graham

After seven long weeks, Teresa Cristina Graham of Grandy, NC, lost her battle to COVID-19. She was 59 years old.

Born in Piura, Peru on December 15, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Elia Brudulbudura Guerrero Ojeda and Mario Parcemon Ruesta Arambulo.

Teresa was an exceptional woman, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Everyone who came in contact with her was greeted with a brilliant ray of light. She touched people’s hearts and changed lives.

Teresa is loved and will be remembered by many. She is survived by her husband, Donald Graham; six children, Harry Antonio Vargas (Catarina) of Virginia Beach, VA, Eliana Margarita Vargas of Virginia Beach, VA, Daniel Eduardo Vargas of Charlottesville, VA, Shane Nicholas Graham of Woodbridge, VA, Christian Ramon Vargas (Sydney) of Concord, CA, and Cameron Wayne Graham of Woodbridge, VA; three grandchildren, Mariana Goncalves Vargas of Virginia Beach, VA, Dawson Rose Vargas of Concord, CA, and Diego Goncalves Vargas of Virginia Beach, VA; and two siblings, Slivia Isabel Ruesta Guerrero and Parcemon Emilio Ruesta Guerrero.

In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by a sister, Elia Ana Margarita Ruesta Guerrero.

While she can no longer greet us with her physical presence, we cherish her beautiful and loving spirit. As a faithful believer in God and the guardian angels, Teresa has now gained her wings and will guard all her friends and loved ones from above with love and respect. Prayers for her spirit to Rest in Peace and peace for her family are welcomed and encouraged. May God be with you.

In the interest of everyone’s safety to not follow a similar fate due to this deadly virus, Teresa’s family has opted to have a private ceremony and memorial. Anyone is welcome to pay their respects via phone or by leaving a condolence for the family.
