Are you in search of the perfect fur-ever friend? A new addition to the family, perhaps? OBX Today in partnership with the Outer Banks SPCA is proud to present “Tail Waggin’ Tuesdays.”
Each Tuesday, browse our provided selection of videos and images and follow along as we showcase a variety of pets that are currently awaiting adoption at our local animal shelter.
This week’s featured pets are Tyler & Colton, Migos, Frankie, Thomas, & Jax, Ren, Rancher, and Rhino. Verbiage is provided by shelter manager Leann Saunders:
Tyler and Colton are 4 months old and are a bonded pair. They are very sweet and in our free roaming room soaking up all of the attention!
Migos is 3 years old and was transferred in from Currituck County! They reached out to us for help last week being overwhelmed with cats and we pulled 5 cats from them.
Frankie, Thomas, and Jax are a month old. Their adoption fee is sponsored by the Dermatas Girls!
Ren is about 9 months old and was also brought into our care from the Currituck County Animal Shelter!
Rancher is about 9 months old. Was brought into our care from the Currituck County Animal Shelter. All of the Currituck County Animal Shelter cats were free roaming with each other and seemed to do well with other cats!
Rhino is about 4 years old! He was transferred into our care from Columbia, NC! He was surrendered into their care due to no fault of his own. Rhino is very sweet but a little nervous in this environment. He is warming up every day and is learning that he loves to play with toys! Rhino seems to do well with other dogs with the right introduction! He is house trained and rides well in the car!
To adopt a shelter animal, visit the Outer Banks SPCA Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., or give them a call at 252-475-5620.
This month’s sponsor of Tail Waggin’ Tuesday is Hatteras Island Pet Resort.
