Stewart Angelo Tatem, 62, of Manns Harbor, NC died Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at his home.
Born in 1960 in Norfolk, Virginia, he was the son of the late Sidney Ray Tatem and Clelia Tatem.
Stewart was a commercial fisherman in Dare County for 30 years. He enjoyed cooking for his family, and he was his mom’s closest companion and caregiver.
Stewart is survived by his siblings, Sid G. Tatem, Mary McCoy, and Bernadette Tillett, and many nieces and nephews.
On Saturday, March 18, 2023, family and friends will gather at 11:00 am at Twiford Colony Chapel in Manteo for a memorial service. This will be followed by scattering of ashes at the Tatem family cemetery in Gibbs Woods.
