‘Tis the season to eat, play, shop and dine! The Waterfront Shops in Duck invites residents and visitors to celebrate the holidays at their inaugural Shop and Shuck on Saturday, December 10 starting at 11 a.m.
The first of its kind, Shop and Shuck is a free, family-friendly event celebrating the holidays, our community and small business. The day will feature an oyster roast compliments of the Outer Banks’ Cousins Oysters, drinks compliments of Coastal Cantina, music from The Billy Clams, a visit from Santa plus the chance to find the perfect holiday gifts at one of our many unique stores on the boardwalk along The Currituck Sound.
All food and drinks are free but donations are suggested with all proceeds benefiting the Outer Banks Relief Foundation.
Additionally, merchants are joining forces to benefit the Outer Banks Relief Foundation with The Waterfront Merchant Shopping Spree – a special holiday raffle with a one-of-a-kind prize including: a two-night stay at The Dock AirBnB above Coastal Cantina; dinner for two at The Blue Point; five complimentary classes at Village Yoga; and more. Tickets are $5 each and are on sale now at Zen & Zip , Barr-ee Station, and Dazzles. A winner will be drawn at random at 4 PM and all money raised will be donated to the Outer Banks Relief Foundation.
Shop and Shuck takes place on Saturday, December 10 beginning at 11 AM at The Waterfront Shops in Duck (1240 Duck Road, Duck, N.C.). The Waterfront Shops in Duck is a unique waterfront shopping village with more than 27 boutiques, restaurants, eateries and more. Our boardwalk meanders along the shores of The Currituck Sound and connects to the Duck Town Boardwalk that has become the focal point and showplace of Duck.
