Sheila Ann Morgan, age 62, of North Myrtle Beach, SC lost her courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, December 4, 2021 in Durham, NC.
She was in the company of her loving family and friends. Sheila was born in Elizabeth City, NC on August 12, 1959. She was preceded in death by her late father and mother, Cecil H. Morgan and Macie C. Peterman, and her step-father Calvin Lamb.
She is survived by two sisters, Rhonda Ranhorn (Tommy), and Elaine McDonald (Jay); a brother, Wayne Morgan (Pam); a sister-in-law, Teresa Morgan; the love of her life, David Cagel; and her loving dogs, Kirby and Eunice. Despite having no children of her own, she cared diligently for her nieces, nephews, cousins, etc. as if they were her own children or grandchildren.
Sheila followed her dreams of becoming an interior designer, starting her own business in Myrtle Beach, SC “Sheila Morgan Interiors” for over the past thirty-four years. She was the designer of choice for both North Beach Plantation and Kingston Plantation. Most of all, she enjoyed the care and companionship of her beloved dogs she kept throughout her lifetime. She loved jet skiing, the beaches and being on the water.
In keeping with Sheila’s wishes, there will be no service at this time.
