Yes! Safe boating benefits all boaters! You can register for the class and get your North Carolina Boater education card, too. (It’s just not required.) You’ll be glad you did.

Cost: $30 includes all materials, exam, and refreshments. $25, each additional family member.

√ Intro to boating – Boating terms and equipment.

√ Boating law – Registration, regulations, plus federal and state requirements.

√ Safety equipment – Sound-producing devises, distress signals, life jackets, fire extinguishers + more.  

√ Safety on the local waters – practical learning from OBX Coast Guard Auxiliarists.
