The Town of Nags Head sand fence installation project is currently underway. Crews are installing one row of sand fence in the public trust area of the ocean beach, and will be working for the next 2-3 weeks.
The project footprint for 2021 is from just North of June Street, in South Nags Head, continuing 5 to 6 miles north, ending between Enterprise and Dune Street.
