Rose M. Wyne, age 94, of Kill Devil Hills, NC passed away peacefully on March 8, 2022 at The Outer Banks Hospital, in Nags Head, NC.
She was born in Bluefield/Mercer WV on February 6th, 1928 to the late Antonette T. and Guiseppi Joseph Monarchy. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Philip W. Wyne, her son, James J. Delp, grandson, Joshua P. Delp and eight of her nine siblings.
She is survived by her son, Ernie Delp of Crozet, VA; her daughter/caretaker, Terri Reid (H. Brandt Bryant) of Kill Devil Hills, NC; her three granddaughters, Stacie Parra (Carlos) of Hurricane, WV, Christie McCabe (Joe) of Fullerton, CA, and Sarah Walp (Justin) of Virginia Beach, VA; five great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
The children are honoring her request to be cremated and will lay her urn to rest beside Phil at Albert G. Horton Veteran’s Cemetery in Suffolk, VA.
