Coinjock- Robert Glenn Sawyer, Jr or “Glenn” as he was best known, went to be with the Lord May 23, 2021 after a short battle with cancer. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Barbara Sawyer.
He is survived by his loving and devoted Wife, Julie; his children, Robert Sawyer (Ashlynn) and Mary Charlish (Steve); his four grandchildren, Bo Sawyer, Brooke Sawyer, Jack Charlish, and Lily Kate Charlish; and his brother, Wayne Sawyer (Heidi) and their children Jesse and Katie. Glenn is also remembered by many loving cousins.
Always the life of the party- Glen never met a stranger and is remembered fondly by numerous friends and family who will continue to swap “Glenn Stories.”
Glenn was a character WITH character and will be missed by so many people that loved him. A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Coinjock Baptist Church. The family is receiving visitors at the residence of Wayne and Heidi Sawyer at 1171 Waterlily Road, Coinjock, NC.
