Ribbon-cutting ceremony for renovated Department of Health & Human Services building to be held May 24

A ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the recently renovated Dare County Department of Health & Human Services facility in Manteo will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.

The project consisted of renovating the two existing and outdated buildings on the Dare County Department of Health & Human Services campus, as well as constructing a 6,500-square-foot addition between them that now serves as the facility’s main lobby and entrance.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will feature several speakers who will discuss the importance of the wide array of essential programs and services that are provided by the Dare County Department of Health & Human Services and the positive impact that renovating the facility will have on the Outer Banks community.

Light refreshments will be served, and attendees will also have the opportunity to take a tour of the recently renovated facility, which is located at 109 Exeter Street in Manteo.
