Currituck Bulls & BBQ, presented annually by the Currituck County Department of Travel & Tourism, returns to the Currituck County Rural Center in Powells Point on Saturday, April 9 from 12 p.m.-6 p.m.

Originally scheduled for November 6, 2021 and postponed due to inclement weather, this afternoon of family fun will include a professional rodeo, mechanical bull riding, live music from Manteo Murphy, a craft market, cornhole tournament, axe throwing, and local food and beverage vendors.

The rodeo, a Southern Extreme Bull Riding Association sanctioned event, will feature some of the region’s top bull riders and barrel racers. A limited number of rodeo tickets (Adults, $15 in advance; Kids 12 and under, $10 in advance) are available for purchase until April 8 at 4:30pm at the Currituck County Welcome Center in Moyock, NC or via phone at 252-435-2947.

Tickets that were previously purchased for the November 6 date are valid for entry on April 9. If you previously purchased tickets via phone to pick up at Will Call, they will be available for pickup at the CCRC on April 9 beginning at 2:00pm.

If there are still tickets available after April 8, they may be purchased on April 9 at the CCRC beginning at 2:00pm (Adults, $20 at gate; Kids 12 and under, $15 at gate). For those who do not purchase their tickets in advance of the event, we suggest that you call the Currituck County Welcome Center at 252-435-2947 on April 9 for an update on ticket availability prior to making your way to the CCRC.
