Pamela G. Smith, age 58, of Hertford, NC died on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Vidant Chowan Hospital. She was born in Asheville, NC on July 10, 1963 to the late Carl D. Griffin, Jr. and Peggy Jo Johnson Griffin and was the widow of Wilbert O. Smith, Jr.
She is survived by two daughters, Kasey Smith Brown (Joseph) of Hobbsville, NC and Brooke Hayden Davis (Christopher) of Sylvania, OH; a son, Tyler Lee Smith of Hertford, NC; a sister, Debbie Burden of Green Bay, WI; two brothers, Paul Scott Griffin of Virginia Beach, VA and Wayne Troy Caldwell (Mary) of Asheville, NC; and five grandchildren, Morgan, Mackenzie, Lilly, Mallory, and Truett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Marie Griffin and a brother, Randall Lee Griffin.
A gathering of friends will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Twiford Memorial Chapel.
