The Outer Banks Wedding Weekend and Expo is returning for its 22nd year this Spring season!
The two-day wedding weekend will begin on March 7, 2020 and is a must for any couple planning a wedding on the Outer Banks. Presented by the Outer Banks Wedding Association, this event features the area’s best and most reliable wedding vendors. If you have been dreaming about an Outer Banks destination wedding, it is essential to help you save time and money in the planning process.
During the wedding weekend, attendees have full access to speak with our participating vendors and to visit their booths. The booths vary in style, so that you will be able to browse and speak with vendors that catch your eye, sample food from local caterers, check out gorgeous floral arrangements, discover your dream venue, view stunning work from photographers, listen to DJ’s and musicians, and figure out who you would love to book for your special day. Many vendors offer discounts (referred to as “Expo Perks”) if you book them at the Expo!
On Sunday, vendors ranging from ceremony and reception venues, to restaurants and accommodations, will be hosting attendees at various locations from Currituck to Manteo for our Wedding Tour. Participating vendors will be featured at tour stops so that you can envision your wedding in different settings and spaces.
There are two types of tickets for the Wedding Weekend: VIP ($40) and General Admission ($20).
Every VIP ticket holder will be automatically entered to win a $1,000 voucher to use toward their wedding with any Expo vendor! They are also able to enter door prize giveaways that feature various packages donated by vendors. Lastly, a VIP ticket comes with a canvas tote filled with promotions/goodies from Expo Sponsors. General Admission tickets grant access the two-day expo and the wedding tour, though these ticket holders are not eligible to enter the Giveaways.
The 2020 Wedding Expo will be held at First Flight High School in Kill Devil Hills on Saturday, March 7 from 10a.m. to 4p.m. The Wedding Tour will take place on Sunday from 10a.m. to 4p.m. Tour stops and additional information about the Wedding Weekend can be found on our website.
