This week’s Outer Banks SPCA Pet of the Week is a two-year-old dream come true that loves her belly rubs.
And this Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at Outer Banks Distilling on Budleigh Street in Manteo, the SPCA is hosting an adoption event during the Fall Shipwreck Series Rum Release of “Home”.
The coolest, adoptable rum dogs will be waiting in line with you.
A commemorative brick sale is now underway to assist the funding of acquiring all of the necessary equipment and materials to ensure the new Dare County Animal Shelter meets the needs of each and every animal that comes through the door.
And by purchasing a brick for yourself or someone else, a lasting legacy of your generous donation will be displayed in front of the new shelter, year after year, paw after paw.
Each brick sells for $100, and will be displayed within the sidewalk in front of the new building.
