Outer Banks Hotline, Dare County Sheriff’s Office to partner for ‘All Together: A Community Response to Human Trafficking’

Outer Banks Hotline and the Dare County Sheriff’s Office are pleased to host a two-day event addressing human trafficking titled, “All Together: A Community Response to Human Trafficking.” Speakers are set to include members from the North Carolina Coalition Against Sexual Assault (NCCCASA) and will be held on Thursday, February 8 and Friday, February 9 at Jennette’s Pier.

Topics covered are human trafficking 101, understanding what human trafficking looks like in Dare County, community-based prevention and intervention strategies.

All local law enforcement agencies, members of the district judical branch, healthcare providers and other community organizations are sending representatives to attend.

Outer Banks Hotline says they look forward to providing education about human trafficking and banding our community all together to navigate a response.
