Filmed on location in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the feature film Call Sign Romeo is set to have its world premiere at RC Theatres Kill Devil Hills Movies 10, on Saturday May 14, 2022.

“We’re extremely excited to be able to premiere the film right here at home,” says Raymond Wallace the Director of the film, “where we began filming a little more than a year ago.”

Filmed in the Outer Banks, the cast, crew, and soundtrack is almost entirely comprised of local and area talent.  The story is a mix of Creed and Top Gun, as high school wrestler Chris Torres pursues his dream to attend the US Naval Academy and fly jets.  He’ll need to win a state championship while navigating the challenges of his senior year, including his girlfriend going to West Point, a nemesis they call Kid Hulk, and Navy SEAL trainers that stand in his way.

“We filmed at several local landmarks, including the Wright Brothers Memorial, Jockey’s Ridge, and Jennette’s Pier,” says Sam Cortez, the film’s writer and Executive Producer.  “Loosely based on actual events, it’s an entertaining film that the whole family can enjoy, with themes and action packed wrestling that’s sure to appeal to all ages.”

Rated PG-13 for some thematic elements and language, the film’s premiere screening will take place at 7:00pm at RC Theatres Kill Devil Hills Movies 10.  With only 200 tickets available, those interested in attending are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance either at the film’s website, www.CallSignRomeo.com, or at the RC Theatres Kill Devil Hills Movies 10 website.
