OBX U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary presents Boat America Boating Safety Class on Saturday, June 29

This 1-day OBX U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary class teaches everything boaters need to know to get their North Carolina Boater education card.  Who needs to have this card?

√ All North Carolina boaters born on or after January 1, 1988

√ Who operate a motorized watercraft of 10 HP or more

√ Must have a valid NC Boater Education Card on board

I was born before January 1, 1988… can I still take the course?

Yes! Safe boating benefits all boaters! You can register for the class and get your North Carolina Boater education card, too. (It’s just not required.) Safe boating is always in style. 

 The OBX U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Boat America Safety Class:

√ Taught by certified U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary instructors.
